European Research Funding

FP7 is the short name for the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. This is the EU's main instrument for funding research in Europe and it will run from 2007-2013. FP7 supports research in selected priority areas.

As designated National Contact Point (NCP Brussels) , we support Brussels based SMEs and research centers to get funding for their european R&D project. This support is free of charges !

National Contact Points...

National Contact Points (NCPs)are the main providers of advice and individual assistance on EU funding in all Member States and Associated States of the European Union. Nominated by their national or regional authorities, they are officially recognized by the European Commission (EC) to play the role of guidance on EU funding for research and Innovation. As such, National Contact Points act as a bridge between EC and companies, academia, research centres. Their services are free of charge.

There is one National Contact Point for any research and innovation areas covered by the EU funding for Research and Innovation, currently the 7th Framework Program (FP7) and the Competitiveness and Innovation Program (CIP).

Brussels National Contact Point (NCP Brussels)is a regional initiative whose aim is to help companies, universities, research centres and other stakeholders from the Brussels Capital Region access EU funding for Research and Innovation.
The Brussels Enterprise Agency has been nominated by the Brussels Capital Region to deliver the services of National Contact Point. Today, it hosts the NCP Brussels team.
